Tips

Start with quality mayonnaise. Since mayonnaise makes up the base of the sauce, using a good-quality brand will give you the best flavour and texture.

Adjust the spice level. For a milder sauce, reduce the amount of sriracha. If you enjoy extra heat, add an additional teaspoon or two.

Let it chill before serving. Refrigerating the sauce for 15 to 30 minutes allows the flavours to blend together and develop a richer taste.

Add garlic gradually. A little garlic powder goes a long way. Start with a small amount and add more if desired.

Taste before seasoning. Sweet chili sauces can vary in sweetness and saltiness, so always taste the finished sauce before adding extra salt.

Store properly. Keep the sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator and use it within 5 days for the best quality.
